Sound Works, Houston is working on season two of Future Weapons. This is the second season that Sound Works audio engineer Mark Meyer has been involved in the audio post process of the show. Future Weapons is a television program series on the Discovery Channel and the Military Channel. Host Richard Machowicz, “Mack”, a former Navy SEAL, reviews and demonstrates war technologies. It’s a blast to work with Mack who travels all over the world shooting big guns and blowing stuff up!
By the way, Mack shared with Mark that since he had shot almost every weapon made and blown up everything short of a nuclear device he didn't mind if he never picked up another weapon. This shows that the series is not about death and destruction but on the technology that enhances our soldier’s survivability on the battle field. Since the majority of Future Weapons audience is Dad's and their 11 year old sons, this makes for a very educational experience without the gore.
